UX Design and Research
Project Overview
For an academic course, myself and a colleague were asked to create an application to solve a problem statement. We were given a wide birth to pick an issue to solve. Because of our shared interest in healthcare information, we chose to create an application to help people manage their heart health information.
My Contributions
This application was done in junction with another UX Researcher/Designer. I contributed to all phases of the application from ideation to the final powerpoint presentation.
Introduction
- Problem: Heart Disease is the #1 Killer in the US. How can we help people manage this risk?
- Solution: By helping the track and manage key factors.
Summary
After initial interviews were conducted, two personas were created. These personas capture the users who would find this application most useful. From here, lo-fi prototypes were created and tested with multiple users. Their feedback formed the basis of our final design, which can be viewed below.
